Last weekend near Cēsis city annual ‘’Alpaca speed festival’’ was held, which is the fastest race in Baltics with riders reaching speeds over 80km/h!
In qualification Gustavs Gailītis took the 1st place, fallowed by Gustavs Zēgners, Mārtiņš Kivlinieks and Jānis Jirgens.
In Masters division Edžus Konošonoks overtook Artjoms Smirnovs and also won the series title one race in advance. In ladies Lauma Stepanova did the same. In juniors Zēgners won for 3rd year in a row, fallowed by Lukass Kellijs, Kristers Ivanovs and Jurģis Blumbergs. Ivanovs is the only one who can still beat Zēgners in overall.
In Open divisons big final Gailītis was in the lead from start to finish. Just in last meters Karlsons grabbed 2nd spot over Mārtiņš Kivlinieks, but Jirgens took 4th place. All top3 riders will fight for series title at the last race in September.
