Jūrmala push race results!
In a sunny Saturday afternoon a mini push race was held in Dzintari Mežaparks. Longboarder from Riga took the top honors, while Liepāja city representatives were also on the podium!

LDLS 2014 warm up race “Longboarding chill on the hill”
“Longboarding chill on the hill”!
On the 11th May in Sigulda, Lorupes grava a downhill season opening race will be held – this one day race with 6-man heats will be a warm up before the 3rd annual international “Latvian Downhill Longboarding Series” which will start on 31st May in Priekuļi.
The course in Lorupe will be approximetly 1km long with top speed around 50-55km/h – wide & friendly course for beginners. Start at 11:00 with practice, then one quali run, then finals!
Entry fee if you register till 7th May:
Juniors – 10euro
Others (Open, women, masters) – 15 euro
If you register after 7th May you must pay 3 euros extra.

Longboarding.lv trip to Lithuania!
Last weekend few Latvian longboarders went to visit brothers from Lithuania & take part in ‘’Longboard’ing & Chill Grill’’ event at Ignalina!
After some great runs at the capital city Vilnius in night, riders went to Ignalina for the event – Latvians did quite good grabbing the top spots!
In a great & chilled atmosphere the longboarding season was offcially opened – thank you to the organizers – we had a great weekend!
