Last weekend at Cēsis Olympic center ‘’Priekuļi’’ 2nd race of this years downhill series ‘’Priekuļi cup 2016’’ was held.

On the first day in qualification Gustavs Gailītis set the fastest time, fallowed by Mārtiņš Kivlinieks, Kārlis Karlsons, Toms Dreiblats and Ralfs Gailītis.
After that the slide jam was held and Karlsons was crowned the winner!
On second day in finals Edžus Konošonoks took the Masters group win, Lauma Stepanova won for the ladies and Gustavs Zēgners for juniors.

In Open final after the start Karlsons took the lead, but after first turn the was overtaken by Gustavs Gailītis, Dreiblats and Kivlinieks. They also finished in that order – 4th year in a row Gailītis won in Priekuļi! Dreiblats took 2nd and Kivlinieks 3rd place.

3rd race of the year will be held on 2-3 July and ‘’Rakši’’, the famous ‘’Alpaca speed festival’’ which is the fastest race in Baltics!

On 4-5th June 2nd race of this years Latvian downhill longboarding series will be held – legendary ‘’Priekuļi cup’’!
On first day downhill practice, qualification and slide jam will happen, on second day we will have more practice and finals!
Schedule (there might be small changes):
Saturday, 4^th June:

13:30-14:00 registration
14:00-16:00 practice
16:00-17:00 qualification
17:15-18:00 slide jam

Sunday, 5^th June:
11:00-12:30 practice
12:30-14:45 finals
15:00-15:30 award ceremony

Obligatory safety equipment – half shell helmet, pads (knees, elbows) and gloves (we recommend to use leather suits and fullface helmets if possible)!

Entry fee (includes entry to all events + event shirt):

Juniors – 20 Eur

Others – 30 Eur

If you register after 02.06.2016. + 5 Eur

You can choose to participate only in one day, but the entry fee will stay the same!
Priekuļi race course is slow and narrow with top speed 55km/h, track length is 1,3km.
