10.-11.jūlijā Madonā notiks jau 10. gadskārtējās ”Madona longboard challenge” sacensības – programmā nobrauciens, longbordu biatlons jeb skate&shoot un slide jam. Savukārt leģendārais ”Priekuļu kauss” ar nobraucienu un slide jam atgriežas 11.-12.septembrī. Atzīmē kalendārā! Tā kā šis gads ir gana izaicinošs arī sacensību organizatoriem, tad sīkāks info par pasākumu tiks publicēts 30.jūnijā (tie, kuri sacensībās ir bijuši jau zina – būs forši un vēl foršāk

For 9th year Baltic longboarders met in Madona sports and recreation base ‘’Smeceres Sils’’ for
annual ‘’Madona longboard challenge’’ event.
For two days longboarders competed in downhill, skate&shoot and slide jam.
In downhill ladies group Barbara Roskoša took 1st place, but Baiba Grunsberga was 2nd.
In masters group Lithuanian legend Lukas Kirkilionis was unstoppable, fallowed by Edžus Konošonoks
and Kaspars Balamovskis.
In young guns battle in junior group the favourite Ralfs Andersons took the win, Kristofers Raģis was
2nd, but Lithuanian Augustas Varanauskas 3rd.
In Open group Ralfs Gailītis took the top honors, fallowed by junior champion Andersons and
Mārtiņš Kivlinieks. Last two year winner Gustavs Gailītis had a crash in final and ended up in 5th.
In skate&shoot Estonians showed their dominance again. Reijo Seemre took the top honors,
fallowed by Rolands Stepanovs and Kaspars Balamovskis.
In slide jam another Estonian Sandro Glass was voted as the winner.
The race was supported by Riposhop.lv, Smeceres Sils, Lulū pica, SUP Adventures, FAB cafe, Vaira
Vīksne and NRJ tipography.

The course is the easiest that we have, so this is a perfect place to start your downhill adventure!

The last race of Latvian longboarding season will happen on 14-15th September in Priekuļi!

We will use the classical race course – max speed is around 55km/h, but it is super fun.

You can compete in just one day, but the entry fee doesn’t change. We recommend to read race rules before the race!
